Our tutors here are multi-instrumentalists, what a talented bunch! They understand that deciding which instrument to learn is a tough decision. Sometimes it's worth trying more than one. This can be something you decide to do and switch between in one lesson, or even change instruments week by week until you make up your mind.

You might be someone who may already play guitar and want to work on your rhythm by learning drums, or a drummer that would like to learn piano to begin writing or learning chords and melody. Having an understanding of each instrument helps greatly in a band set-up or as an aspiring songwriter

It might also be the case that you don't want to commit to buying a brand new guitar or drum kit. Musical instruments are very expensive! But don't worry, while you decide whether that instrument might be something you are interested in, Blueberry Music lets you borrow the instrument for the lesson free of charge*

Learn with Friends (Groups of 2-3**) :
$35pp for 30 minutes
$60pp for 60 minutes
* This option offers musical instruments to be loaned only within the Blueberry Music studio during the time of the lesson. Damage to instruments due to improper use will be subject to a repair charge.
** This option is for pupils learning the same instrument or disciplines and recommended for pupils of a similar capability
Acoustic Guitar
In the beginning...there was acoustic guitar, it's still here, and it is going to be for a very long time! We bet you have one in a garage or an attic somewhere! It's time to find it, dust it off and give it another go! From playing along to your favourite songs, writing your own or playing music with friends, everyone will find something they are looking for in an acoustic guitar from pop songs to rock songs, Let's get you a little closer to that dream!
Drums
What can we say about drums? – Probably the instrument we, as humans, have been playing the longest! Come to Blueberry Music to sit down behind a professional acoustic drum kit. To smashing Rock beats to smooth grooves, whatever style you like listening to, we can give you the tools, not just learn how the greats hit those skins, but create your very own style! Everyone has a rhythm, it’s just about finding how to make yours a strong one.
Bass Guitar
So… you wanna learn bass? The super low and boomy big brother of the electric guitar! Learning to play bass can be one of the most exciting instruments to play - from funky dance grooves to incredibly sweet rock riffs, the bassists are the glue between the drummers the guitarists, so learning the bass can be key tool for any musician… are you ready for it?

The piano is a timeless instrument, which has been loved by so many, and for many generations! Those of us that play it, love it… and those that don’t play… wish we did! Some of the greatest songs in the world start from just a piano, give it a try? With a bit of time and practice we can help show you how to get your head around this timeless classic, and maybe you’ll start something great too…
